The collograph process is an inexpensive way to make versatile printing plates.They can be inked intaglio, relief or in a monoprint manner. We will build a plate using a styrene base, experimenting with Speedball's Akua platemaking gel screen printing an image or producing a mezzotint instead. The workshop will include both platemaking and inking techniques.
